The fact that it is a co-working place on the top floor. Means that if you are on the second floor chair are sliding in and out all day and potentially night since it is open all the time. Also the bathroom in the suite does not have blackout shades and the bathroom door is tempered glass so the sun shines through very early so if you want to sleep in at all, you must wear an pillow.
Also the staff arrives very early and can be heard talking and cleaning. So overall it is really loud.

The staff were amazing, the location was great for me and it was super cute
The noise. The staff start working at 530 am and move furniture, get the cafe ready and it sounds like they were in my room. It took me over 24 hours to get there, I needed to sleep and it wasn't going to happen there. I asked to move rooms which they graciously did but they upcharged me. The price difference was not that big of a deal. It was the principal. That being said, I know it's a co-working place but I can't imagine that people are getting up that early everyday to work. No one wants to be woken up by moving furniture. That sounds like elephants.

My boyfriend and I had the best time staying at Outpost Ubud Penestanan. We are both digital nomads, so Outpost was a perfect combo: a great comfortable accommodation with a beautiful pool, and the kindest staff who got us anything that we needed. Plus, a co-working space (all in the same building!) that allows us to focus on work, with good WiFi and a quiet area. The common areas are also great places to get work done and relax. If all of this wasn't enough, they also have the best community (a WhatsApp community that helps connect with the other members), and Judith (the community manager) was incredibly kind and so helpful in involving us in all the activities. Every day they were events we could join to meet like-minded people or to get to know Ubud and Balinese culture. Judith was so helpful in reminding us every day of what kind of events they had and helped us with any sign-up processes and other tips. We will definitely be staying in Outpost again!
The only thing I can say is I wasn't expecting to have to pay for the co-working area's WiFi while I was already staying at the Outpost. They charge 4 USD per day for you to have access to the WiFi in the co-working area. It wasn't a big deal, and they were extremely kind explaining this at check-in, but I would rather this be included in the overall price of the accommodation (even if this one had to be slightly higher). Nevertheless, this didn't harm my time there in any way, and I would still 10/10 recommend staying here for any digital nomad. :)

Location is convenient to eateries, 5 mins gojek to Ubud city.
Room has the smell of mold due to insufficient sunlight. Uneven flooring. Shower facility is too high to reach.
