The stay for the most past was good, we were there for 2 days. When we arrived, the lady we met with was very polite and accommodating, she mentioned if we needed anything her father would be happy to help. At the end of the stay, we were charged for the journeys with the father when he took us to get some food, despite this not being mentioned prior. Had we known, we would’ve done our research on costs using the PickMe app.
Didn’t appreciate the added costs at the end, felt like hidden costs which hadn’t been made clear.

The room was spacious and well appointed. We didn’t eat at the property as dinner wasn’t available the first night but the owner was lovely and dropped us to a local restaurant and collected us after we had finished. The pool was lovely and very clean and the gardens lovely.
The only small issue was the water pressure in the shower was a bit low.

Massive thank you to Isanka and his family for making us feel so welcome and comfortable. We loved this place. It was clean , comfortable, close to lots of restaurants and shops. We did a safari with Isanka and it was a highlight of our trip. Our kids used the pool multiple times per day and the breakfast was so delicious! Thank you Isanka and family. You have a special place.

Location is great. Only 7 minute drive to the Lion Rock.
Staff is super friendly and accomodating.
Very quiet area. Close to a road, but not many cars.
Breakfast surprisingly good.
Rooms quite moldy. Marks on the wall and unpleasant smell. Not dangerous or unbearable, but sensitive people should be aware.
Lots of ants in the bathroom.
Bad shower pressure (which must be expected for budget hotels in Sri Lanka).
