3rd trip, second stay in Tarragona

This apartment has a great location, close to the rambla and the Balcó de Tarragona, the central Market and a few minutes from the beach. There's tapas all around the place and the local train station( "rodalias") is about 5 minutes from there. Overall, is a great apartment, and this is the second time I stayed in it..

The apartment need some upgrades regarding furniture and flooring. There's other minor issues that I talked to the management and they are working on it.

The worst experience on Booking.com ever! Absolutely frustrating!

The worst experience on Booking.com ever! As I was traveling with a nine-month-old baby in a stroller, I was looking for apartments with a lift. I booked this apartment one month in advance with a free cancellation option, as there was no information on whether they could provide a crib for a baby. They said that they could for an additional fee of €50, to which I agreed. Upon entering the building, we were greeted with a full flight of nine high stairs leading to the lift. The description of the apartment said nothing about the stairs, nor was there a picture of them. What’s more, the employee I discussed the crib with didn’t consider that this accessibility issue might be useful information for a guest with a baby. Later she would write: "It's only like 5 stairs... then you have the elevator." The good news was that there was a stair lift, so I called the emergency phone provided to find out about the key to it five times. No one responded. So, I called Booking.com Customer Support, who only informed me that they could do nothing about it, although they "understood that the stairs may be inconvenient." After hearing what I think about "inconvenience," they contacted the owner again, who said he would try to get the keys for the stair lift. We decided to wait one day and see if they could get the key. To get to the lift, I had to disassemble the stroller (12 kg in total, chassis 9.5 kg), and climb the stairs first with the baby and the upper part (12.5 kg in total), then climb again with the chassis (9.5 kg), and to top it all, the third climb with the suitcase of 30 kg... When we entered the apartment, we could not find the crib for the baby, so I wrote to the property again to ask when we could expect to get it — no response. The next morning, I contacted the property again asking about the crib — no response. I waited until 6 p.m. (18:00) and then moved out to save our vacation.

Superb

Great location, apartment needs a little love -looks better on photos, than in reality. Would be great if before the arrival would be turned on AC. The apartment is very sunny, so it takes time to cool off rooms. Very easy to get in/out the apartment. Safe area, street has many little places to eat. Very good thinnest pizza restaurant just steps away, as well the food stores. Time at the beach improved the impression-overall a good stay. Thank you for hospitality 😉🙏

Fantastic apartment very close to Rambla Nova.

Location, and the terrace. Far too big for just the two of us mind. Bed was comfortable. AC helped with the hot days 35+ Celsius. Kitchen was great, but we hardly used it apart from making sandwiches and drinks. The big fridge freezer was fantastic we used lots of ice, because it was so hot. The fact you could step out of the apartment and be on the Rambla Nova in seconds was great. Very quiet at night. All done remotely never spoke face to face, but fast responses on WhatsApp which I much prefer.

No toilet paper in bathroom. No coffee machine.
