The place was very peaceful and it was refreshing being in nature. Waking up to the sound of water from the river and birds was amazing. There were a troop of baboons but the host had informed us about it before hand. It was nice to watch them play and swim in the river. We watched from inside of course. I was too afraid to go out but when we opened the door they ran off.
The stars at night were breath taking, just put off the outside lights and you see a sky covered in stars.
The place had everything you need from a braai grid to coffee and milk.
It was very windy on one of the nights and the chimney made a lot of noise. Apart from that definitely a place to visit again.

Very close to the venues/attractions. Good value for money. I am sure we will stay here again.
I was only informed on the morning of our arrival that the bathroom is separate from the unit. There also wasn't a mirror in the room, which is quite a necessity for a woman getting ready to go to a wedding. My wife used the microwave door to do her hair, which was quite entertaining and did her make-up in the bakkie.
