Great family apartment in great location

The location was perfect for our stay and the size of the apartment accommodated us well. The view was the standout; stunning view of Copacabana!

The beds were a bit firm for our liking but that’s just our preference.

Magnificent apartment with a stunning view

This is a fantastic apartment. We were greeted on arrival, and given a tour of the apartment - shown where everything was and how everything works. The front door operates by pass code, which is ideal for a group of people and also minimises the risk of losing any keys. The apartment is spacious, well furnished and has a spectacular view along Copacabana beach to Pão de Açucar (Sugar Loaf Mountain) on one side, and to the Forte de Copacabana in the other direction. With the windows open, there is a lovely sea breeze and we didn't need to use the air-conditioning at all. There is a supermarket (Zona Sul) only a two-minute walk away, along with bakeries, pharmacies and several good places to eat (we particularly recommend Sindicato do Chopp). The beds are comfortable, with quality bed linen, and the bathrooms are clean, bright and modern, although one is very small. The kitchen is well equipped, and there is a water filter machine, so unlimited drinking water is available. The washing machine worked well, and there is a tumble dryer too. The building has 24 hour security and entrances in both Avenida Atlântica and Nossa Senhora de Copacabana. There is a Metro station about 10 minutes' walk away. Using the underground garage worked well for us too. It is also very easy to walk to Arpoador and Ipanema from the apartment. We definitely hope to return sometime soon!

There is nothing we didn't like, although I think it is important to mention that - for peace of mind - the apartment would only be suitable for families with older children. The apartment is several floors up, and the windows overlooking the beach have a very low sill (about 85cm, or less than 3ft). The windows open wide - which is great - but with no guard rail or netting (common in Brazilian apartments), it would be very easy for a child to fall out, unless they were supervised all the time. Even adults should take care when the windows are open.

Everything. Amazing, spacious apartment in a perfect location, spectacular view, attentive hosts and staff. Comfortable beds, nice furniture, appliances and basic items that you need to have a great stay. 10 out of 10. I’m from Rio and go back often. My family and I stay at hotels most of the time, but this was by far the best place we’ve stay. 100% recommend.

Can’t think of anything. There was noisy construction going on most of the time that started early in the morning, but that is obviously out of the host’s control. Everything about the apartment and building was great.

La atencion del anfitrión,nos pasaban a buscar para ir al aeropuerto a las 15 y Vania muy amablemente nos permitió permanecer en el departamento hasta esa hora (el check Out era a las 11), estábamos en Río con dos personas amigas y no hubo ninguna restricción para que pasarán al edificio a visitarnos (con las salvedades logicas).

Nada,todo perfecto, quizá mencionaría qué en algunas oportunidades el ascensor funcionaba mal,pero nada de importancia.
