The position is perfect (6 minutes walking to the mailbeach in Beau Vallon). There is a small supermarket and snack shop very close, as well as an ATM and a bus station. The host was extremely helpful, paying a lot of attention to my needs, and helped me arranging transfer to and from the airport. The host helped me during the application of the tourist Visa to the Seychelles. Additionally, the last day they stored my luggages after checkout, and gave me the chance to have a shower at the reception - all free of charges! - so I had one extra day at the beach before going to the airport.
The apartment is quite noisy - I could hear absolutely everything from the apartment next to mine (from the television, to the guy making his Duolingo). It could be a problem during night.
The host only wanted to be paid cash (either Euro, Dollars, or local currency. He didn't accept the payment via Booking, nor credit/debit card, nor bank transfer. He told me that "Booking com does not charge the credit card at all they aren't allowed" and then that "Our system is down presently as due to middle east issue" (I have used my debit/credit card in every shop of the area, no problem at all). I found this a little bit annoying.
