Food was excellent. We had tapas type snacks both evenings and cooked breakfast both mornings.
Soundproofing in bedroom 12. Sounded like the chap was dying next door…

Nice and warm bright reception rooms Good breakfast. Easy walk in to Southwold
Our room no2 was ok but not great. The beds were hard and a little uncomfortable. The shower room was large and well maintained but the radiator was noisy and the hot tap was broken and shot out hot water everywhere. The boiler was located outside the window. This interrupted our sleep.

Staff were very pleasant and keen to help, the food was well presented and asty.
Room 11, Constant problem with the bath, plug would not release so would not allow water to run away after four/five complaints to the reception staff.
Eventually, spoke to Jenny who we understand is the owner who was extremely rude, advising that the plumber was not at our beck and call and it will be done tomorrow (which was the day we were leaving) and advised it will be done for the next occupants!! Suggested cause was due to lack of routine. Noting we specific asked for a bath for our stay.
