Absolutely everything! The remote location is spectacular and completely surrounded by nature. The service from the entire staff was exceptional. We had a great welcome from Simón, an incredible guided dinner by Natalja and the chef, and a wonderful breakfast attended by a very kind girl from Finland. Everything at the Wilderness Center / Óbyggðasetur Íslands was genuine, delicious, and authentic. An unforgettable experience.

Nothing at all, it was a flawless experience from start to finish.

The location at the end of the valley was stunning. The generosity and deliciousness of both dinner and breakfast and the very good staff.

We had a wonderful time in Wilderness Centre, the atmosphere there was welcoming and peaceful. You can relax in the hot tub and sauna, interact with the horses and sheep, enjoy delicious traditional dinner and just disconnect from the world. A special mention has to go to Simon, who was absolutely fantastic! He was incredibly friendly, helpful and made our entire experience so much better. We truly enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend this place to others.
