This property was stunning all on its own. Add in the hospitality, food, and wine and it was one of the best experiences of our 2 week trip to Georgia. Zaal welcomed us warmly and we scheduled a wine tasting and then spent an amazing evening talking and drinking wine. I learned so much about Georgia and the Khaketi region. Gorgeous house and yard.

If you go to Telavi, you should definitely stay at Neli and Zaal’s. A beautiful property with a fabulous breakfast and Neli and Zaal were the kindest and most welcoming of hosts. It was lovely to sit up with Zaal and learn more about about Georgia whilst tasting his delicious wine and chacha. There are two excellent value restaurants within a short walk and it is an easy walk down the hill into the old part of Telavi to see the Plane Tree and the fortress. It is also an easy drive out to visit vineyards and other sights such as Gremi.
Nothing - it was the perfect introduction to guesthouses in Georgia.
