the location of Villa Gherardi is perfect, in-between "old" and "new" Barga, with lovely views to the old town. its own parking, a beatiful old Villa, on the ground floor it is the village library and the rooms are upstairs. Adele is a wonderful host and it has a very homely vibe.

Spacious, clean and comfortable, with a great breakfast, and a perfect base for walking into the historic village just a few minutes away. Easy parking.

Location, breakfast, friendly staff

Beds far too soft, like sleeping in a hammock; no air conditioning... In Italy, in July?! Just one fan for 4 beds. Incredibly thin towels. 130 quid for what we got really isn't worth it.
