Lovely room, beautifully decorated and very comfortable bed. We paid for breakfast the next morning. English breakfast was plentiful, top quality ingredients and exceptional value for money. No vegan or vegetarian equivalent on the menu sadly.
We were going to a wedding and needed to get ready. Made more difficult due to lack of a full length mirror, lack of available sockets for hair straighteners near a mirror and no decent lighting or bathroom shelf space for applying make up. Bedside lamp only on one side of the bed and no socket for charging phone by the bedside. Also, personally I prefer a soft pillow.

A little Gem of a place
The locking of the door was a bit odd!

The staff were very welcoming. The food was good and plentiful. The gardens were very pleasant
The rooms
There was no ventilation except small windows. In the recent heatwave the rooms were too hot for any comfort.
