Beautiful spot and quite rustic with an amazing price tag! I recommend this place so much, everyone makes you feel right at home. It was nice as a solo traveler with the hustle and bustle of the shop downstairs, made me feel less lonely and like my family was just around the corner.
The balconies looking at the interior courtyard are a nice place to chill and recover from the heat. The rooms are basic but you have everything you need. You're close to everything the fort has to offer and just a half block from the ramparts, with it's stunning views and the nearest side to the sunsets.
If I come come back to Galle, I'd love to stay here again!
Not too much of a gripe the water heater didn't work for my bathroom. It's always hot so a cold shower can be nice.

It’s a great location, and a really cute hotel. The staff were lovely and the paid breakfast was delicious.
It was really loud. There was a group up really late and I could hear them so clearly because of the courtyard setting. In addition someone, I think staff, was up until 1am talking on the phone and smoking cigarettes directly outside my room. And then he started again at about 6am. It was really hard to sleep and quite uncomfortable.
