By far the best accommodation we did in one month of travel in NZ. You will have everything you need provided. The kitchen is well furnished and you will have all you need to cook (pan, microwave, panini press, pizza oven, oven, rice cooker, air fryer,...). We loved the soup provided and the pop corn. Also having a free coffee machin with real grain OMG!!
Just go their if you have a night to spend in Franz Josef

Complimentary muffins popcorn and vegetable soup really made this accomodation stand out. Easy check in and out. Room was very small but we had a corner room with 2 windows. Close to Franz Josef glacier hikes and many other hikes. Complimentary tea and coffee maker plus hot chocolate with marshmallows! Spa bath option was a lovely option although we didnt use it and free bike hire is awesome.
No laundry facilities with only a $25 laundry service. Laundry down the road through coin operated.

Room and linens were clean. The complimentary soup was good. Veggie with barley, ran out on the first night. Bikes nice but only 2 of the 4 were functional.
Eileen was great.
However Lisa was more interested in her phone than helping. I had to ask repeatedly for basic things, multiple times . She also gave me a dirty bathrobe, it smelled and was wet inside. Not impressed.
