Lovely old pub with smart modern bedrooms, very quiet room and comfy bed, Very friendly staff, couldn't be more helpful. Excellent parking (free) right next to the pub. Location, couldn't be more central.
Breakfast was very limited, no cereal or fruit, it was cooked to order , which I like but it took 25 minutes to arrive, so you may need to allow for this if you are needing to leave promptly, when the breakfast did arrive it was OK. The waitress was very friendly an apologetic, there were only 2 other people having breakfast when I arrived, so difficult to understand why the wait? The room was great but as is so common now, there are no shelves in the bathroom to put your stuff, the walk in shower, means the floor is soaking wet , small issues.
