When we arrived Barbara was very welcoming and explained everything we needed to no ,we stayed in the annex rooms they were amazing quite. Spotless plenty of hot water and tea and coffee facilities ,we went for just a quiet one night stay ,we booked a table at the restaurant on site and I must say the food was exceptional ,famous for there pies it was rude not to try one lol 😂 they lived up to what Barbara said ,the staff members were so assertive and polite nothing to much trouble ,great bar with a great variety of drinks .
We were hit by a power cut on the morning we were leaving ,but this did not stop us having the most excellent breakfast we could ask for
Great hosts , great place great food ,great price
We will definitely be back
Oh and thanks for telling us about the speed camera we made sure we drove below the 30mph

Friendly staff, room was extremely clean and tidy and to good taste little to warm when we got there but open the windows and was fine breakfast was amazing both days , they looked after our dog just as much as they looked after us
Room was extremely warm when we got there

Family run hotel. Lovely owners and welcoming. Good value for money and a nice location just not central lakes. Breakfast included as was a huge portion and it also had a good option of food for the dinner menu. We Sat outside and had their own open fire burning and big blankets as it got cold at night. Booked two rooms and it was like in an annex with shared living and kitchen space. Really lovely place to stay. Would definitely come back
Bed were huge but slight hard and uncomfortable and tv in the rooms are very small.

The room is very dated and separated from the main hotel, we couldn’t open the windows the two showers were very odd one with the curtain and the other one without
