I really enjoyed my stay. My host was a wonderful Italian lady. I don't speak one word of Italian but we were able to communicate just fine. She was very nice and very helpful. She helped me open the doors when I had trouble with the locks. She lended me her charger when mine wasn't working. She stored some food for me in the fridge. The room was clean. The shared bathroom was clean. The shower was nice and hot. The location was excellent, steps away from Termini station, but in a nice neighborhood.
At night, there can be some music from nearby restaurant but bring earplugs and you will be fine, it is not that loud.

Casa Totti is in an extremely convenient position close to the train station and literally next to the Baths of Diocletian. Thus it was easy to reach and close to the public transportation as well as being quiet. Virginia went out of her way to make me feel comfortable and indeed it felt like I was staying at my aunt's house. With the heat wave, I appreciated the air conditioning in the room.

The owner is friendly and quiet. You get keys to allow yourself in or out at any time, and within a few hours it feels like home. Termini is directly across the nearest main road, with restaurants, bars and even a water bottle refilling station all within 5 minutes of walking.

Comfortable bed, it is a room within someone’s house so the other facilities are shared including the bathroom. Everything was clean. The Nonna that lives in there doesn’t speak much English but is accommodating.
It was quite warm and when we asked for the aircon remote the owner was reluctant to give it to us because she said it was expensive. Eventually she was very sweet and welcoming once we sorted that out.
