Excellent location for us, being within a very short walk to the seafront and on to the town centre within 18mins, also on a bus route, (no.50 every hour), with bus stops within a couple of mins walk. The one to town centre, right opposite.
Start the day with the lovely sumptuous breakfast, many options available to suit all tastes and needs. All served up by John and Martine, our kind and friendly hosts. Nothing appears to be too much trouble, if you want it, then you’ll have it.
Nice friendly pub a two minute walk away, serving excellent food for that evening meal should you require one.
We had the two single bed with en-suite room that served us well for our requirements, beds being both comfy and cosy for us. We are both pensioners.
The Sandhaven, very clean and tidy throughout, highly recommended it.
To be honest, nothing cropped up that requires the phrase, ‘what could be done better’, but there will people who will always find something that doesn’t suit them but those people aren’t us, we enjoyed it.
John and Martine can’t control the weather.

Excellent location, very friendly owners, very clean.
Bit odd. Like a DIY B&B. Very little interaction with the owners, self check in is fine but might be nice to have more contact. Also, shower in our room was really not a shower.

Friendly professional staff and yes an excellent breakfast.
Room would have been a bit small for two people but there is not mùch you could do about that. Adequate though.
