We have spent a day by Daoud, an exceptionally friendly and welcoming host. The location in a traditional dar with a beautiful view on dates palm trees is excellent for a trip to M'Hamid and Erg Chigaga. And the beautiful nearest dunes are only a short walk away. Daoud organised for us an excursion to a desert camp with a crazy ride there with Yusuf, the best desert driver and music expert. We enjoyed every moment of our stay by Daoud.
New shower head would be great.

Clean, simple, pleasant room.
Good locations with dunes.
Suitable for those looking for peace and relaxation
Possibility go to the dessert by 4x4 car or camel.
Only the proximity of the road disturbs sometimes the peace, but there is little traffic on it, so it's OK.

Lage und die Terrasse
An und für sich wäre die Unterkunft ganz gut gewesen ABER als wir angekommen sind, haben wir es so bemerkt, dass keiner auf uns gewartet. Wir mussten selbst das Tor zum Hof aufmachen, um mit dem Mietwagen reinfahren zu können. Drei Männer faulenzten unter den Palmen und sprangen plötzlich auf als sie uns bemerkten. Sie konnten kein Englisch. Wir sagten, dass wir eine Reservierung haben, aber sie schienen, das nicht zu verstehen.
Sie zeigten uns ein Zimmer, das unserer Buchung entsprach. Man sah, dass das Zimmer vor Wochen sauber gemacht wurde und nicht mehr betreten wurde. Es lag Sahara Staub und Sand überall. Wir mussten das Zimmer erst gründlich kehren und die Bettwäsche ausschütten. Es war klar, dass es Low Season war, und wir die einzigen Gäste waren aber man erwartet den gleichen Service als in High Season.
Im Zimmer gab es kein AC und das Zimmer war Sau heiß im August. Wir schliefen auf der Terrasse.
Den Frühstück hätten sie um 8 Uhr servieren sollen, aber kurz vor 8 Uhr schliefen sie noch unter den Palmen. Das Frühstück war schnell aus drei Eier und ein Paar Stück Brot.
Als wir Abreisen wollten und saßen bereits im Auto, hielten sie uns an, dass wir für das Zimmer zahlen, obwohl die Zahlung schon vor Tagen per Kreditkarte über Booking.com erfolgte. Das hat es uns wieder bestätigt, dass sie keine Ahnung von unserer Buchung hatten, die wir viele Monate vorher gemacht hatten…
