Great location but not great value for money for the standard of hotel

Great location on the beachfront

We were in a basement apartment, it has a slight damp/sewage smell. Overall the decor was quite simple and dated and could do with a refresh. One of the showers leaked badly.

Amazing service

Our apartment was flooded by a burst pipe the day before our stay. The Marine staff were lovely, very apologetic and set out various options to accommodate our group in alternative accommodation. We chose Oak Lodge at a near by site which was great. My wife also lost a ring at the accommodation which we worried must be in the vacuum cleaner. After we left the staff found the ring in the vacuum for us and returned it by post. Honestly so rare to have such pleasant and accommodating owners and service. Thank you very much.
