We had a wonderful stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton Agra and couldn't have been happier with our experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive. The welcome drink and signature warm cookie were such a lovely touch and made us feel special from the outset.
The hotel facilities were fantastic, particularly the pool and spa, which made for a lovely way to relax after exploring Agra. We were also so impressed with the laundry service, which was exceptionally fast, efficient, and accommodating.
A particularly thoughtful highlight was receiving a little "thank you" cake from the staff on our departure. It was such a lovely gesture and a reflection of the genuine hospitality we experienced throughout our stay.
The staff really went above and beyond to make our visit extra special, and their warmth and attention to detail made all the difference. We would absolutely recommend the DoubleTree by Hilton Agra and would happily return!

We stayed in the DoubleTree for 2 nights while visiting the Taj. The welcome and reception looks luxurious and the staff were so kind and helpful. You feel like you’re entering a palace when you enter the hotel.
However the rooms are dated and need work, the drawers don’t close properly, the beds are small (compared to many 5-star hotels we’ve stayed). Also the hairdryer was made to use on a doll, no a women’s hair, it’s ridiculously poor potency and tou have to keep pressing a button for it to work, gave up after 30seconds.
The breakfast is fabulous! You can order hot dishes - pancakes, parathas, omeletes etc and they’re done to your liking and brought warm to your table. Fabulous however i’ve learned this is the principle of all 5-star hotels in india. We had dinner also, asked for a la carte because I didn’t think i’d find anything suitable for me and the kids as we don’t eat any spice and they are very picky. Despite asking without any spice, everything came spicy which I didn’t end up eating and the children ate only chips.
Compared to many 5-star hotels i’ve stayed in, this one felt more like a 4-star except the service and the luxurious entrance.
I’d like to particularly acknowledge Rekha who was extremely kind to us and the lady who serves the chai (apologies i forgot her name). Many other staff. Also one of the managers in the restaurant was particularly helpful (i’m sorry i can’t remember his name - sanjay?).

The rooms were dated, the beds were small and not as comfortable. Very little options for kids and adults that don’t eat spicy food at all.

Resturant Food was excellent and Staff was great..
My stay was completely overshadowed by the appalling behaviour of the reception night manager around 8 pm on 24 July 2026. He was exceptionally rude, arrogant, dismissive, and entirely unwilling to assist with even a reasonable request. Instead of listening or attempting to resolve the issue, he responded with an attitude that was confrontational and unprofessional.
As the person responsible for assisting guests during the night, I expected courtesy, respect, and basic customer service. Instead, I was treated as though my concerns were an inconvenience. His lack of cooperation and poor communication reflected very badly on the hotel and created an unnecessarily unpleasant experience.
Hospitality is built on professionalism and respect, and the reception night manager demonstrated neither. No guest should be made to feel ignored or spoken to in such a dismissive manner. It is disappointing that someone in a managerial position displayed such poor judgement and customer service.
I would strongly encourage the hotel's management to review the conduct of the night reception team and ensure appropriate training and accountability. Until significant improvements are made, I would think twice before staying here again.
