Exterior gardens were overgrown & unkempt with litter about.

Due to a brief power failure affecting the island we were provided with a luxury suite at no additional cost. The facilities were excellent - a full kitchen and separate bathroom / toilet.
A large bed and entertainment area (not that we entertained but meant there was ample room for our luggage). Reverse cycle air conditioning was reassuring but as the weather was around 25C every day it wasn’t necessary. A drying rack outside was available. A smart TV. Ample parking and an eight minute walk to the centre. A view from any of the terraces property was magnificent and uninterrupted. Communication with Socrates and his brother Nick was outstanding (if the scale went to 11 it would be a 12) - they even picked us up from the port (a 5 minute drive) and they would have dropped us off too if we hand a hire car to return. If we return to Tinos we would definitely return to this property.
The beach area at the end of the path is too rocky for swimming but you don’t have to go far.

Nick and Socrates are very welcoming, friendly and helpful hosts. Socrates communicated with us before our arrival and was very responsive to any queries or messages we sent him during our stay. Nick picked us up from the port in Tinos town and drove us the short distance to our accommodation. On departure, he stored our bags for us after checkout and brought them to us in the port in advance of our ferry departure. The suites are located on a headland right by the sea and close to the port, about 15 minutes' walk into Tinos town but they manage to feel remote and rural at the same time. Our very large open-plan apartment on the ground floor was impressive. Stylish, modern and minimalist with high ceilings, it was spotlessly clean, very well decorated and furnished, and had good AC. Our open plan apartment conisisted of a kitchen area, a seating area, a large and comfortable bed and an open-plan stone bathroom with an enclosed toilet and an excellent roomy shower. There was tons of storage space and we had daily housekeeping. Outside we had a large private paved and furnished terrace with gorgeous views out to sea in several directions and of the port, and we enjoyed watching the ferries and other vessels sail by. A lot of the other apartments/studios were occupied but it was still peaceful and tranquil with a far-flung feel, even though we were close to the port and the town. We found a small sandy/pebble beach with shady trees and very nice bathing conditions by a little blue and white church about 10 minutes' walk from the apartment. There were only a few locals there when we visited and it was a lovely place for a swim. We had a hire car for two days during our five-night stay and we had no problem parking it practically outside our apartment. We had a wonderful stay on Tinos which is a very special place and we hope to return. We would have no hesitation staying in Parathyro sto Aigaio 2 suites again.
A small issue but the apartment would benefit from a few more basic kitchen utensils. We could find no knives for eating so we bought a couple in the local supermarket and gifted them to the apartment when we left!

The stay was wonderful. Very clean, excellent location, and quiet. I recommend it wholeheartedly!
Maybe the towels—too rough.
