There were so many things to like about the Divine Mercy B&B. My room was super clean and very comfortable with a kettle and tea, coffe and milk etc provided. Breakfast every morning was the full Irish - with sausages, eggs, bacon, black and white pudding and delicious homemade soda bread.
It was an easy walk to the Knock Shrine but the host, Elsie, was also happy to pick up and drop off any time.
What I liked most of all however was the friendliness of Elsie and her husband. The atmosphere was so homely and all the guests treated like family.

Having travelled all over europe recently this accommodation was a great surprise. Made to feel super welcome by the host Elsie and after arriving soaked from a storm was made toasted cheese and warm cup of tea.
Feels homely and provides a service that is severely lacking in many other places
Would highly recommend and will remember as a highlight of my tour of West Ireland

Basic accommodation
Staff, quite abrupt. Difficulty communicating my late check in due to internet issues. Arrived to property to be told by Proprietor they could have let the room to another customer as my lateness may have been regarded as a no show. Therefore all potential customers be ware of this, if you are late, you may have no room!!
