My family and I had a wonderful experience at Okay Boutique. The main reason was the very welcoming Cambodian staff who did their upmost to give us a memorable stay. The hotel is quiet and family friendly but very close to most of the central Phnom Penh attractions. We requested a quiet room and were upgraded to a very nice room with a balcony. Breakfast was a fun experience with varied Cambodian and western options at the rooftop, overlooking Phnom Penh.

Location was good enough, staff were good, breakfast was good - all excellent value for money.
The aircon barely worked, the bed was hard, and dogs barked through the night (not the hotel’s fault, I know). After two nights of terrible sleep, we checked out early and moved elsewhere.
We’d also booked a spa treatment, but when we arrived the spa staff said it wasn’t available. I suspect a miscommunication between reception and the spa.
Still, for the price, I can’t really complain. We didn’t even mind losing the money for the extra night, as everything had been reasonable overall. If you’re not too fussy, it’s worth a stay.
