Property was very clean. However way to expensive for what you get. In Europe this would be a 4 Star Hotel.
Staff were very friendly.
Sometimes the coffee machine was broken. Food was very expensive and the burrata salad was off and was not taken off the bill. The beach had a lot of seaweed and did not look like on the photos.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa which was absolutely fantastic. It was great to have so much living space. Both pools were extremely quiet and the beach area is really lovely. In terms of the accommodation and the location, this resort would be hard to beat in Exuma I'd imagine.
The service and staff for me were at best a mixed bag. I'm not talking about speed of service. I'm well aware of "island time" and I have no problem with that. However, I found quite a few of the staff members to be quite surly and rude. I don't want to mention any names but quite a few of the bar and serving staff in Palapa were quite unhelpful. Bar staff in particular seemed to wait for you to ask them to serve you, rather than them actively looking to serve you. I found that quite annoying. Likewise with some of the reception staff, whose role in my opinion is specifically to be helpful. Two staff members I would like to call out in a positive way are "Mr. Paul?" the bellman and Shavon who works in Palapa. Mr. Paul gave us a wonderful welcome when we arrived and was consistently a cheery face throughout or stay. Likewise, Shavon was one of the few staff members in Palapa who was always really helpful, attentive and always had a smile on her face. Both are credits to the resort. Finally, as others have said in their reviews, the food in the restaurants is overpriced. That's not to say the food is bad, just that it is nothing special and doesn't represent value for money.

Quiet and family friendly! Pretty beach and well-maintained landscaping.
The villa had a lot of issues: towel bars falling, toilet paper holder falling, toilet clogged and plumbing was gurgling and loud. Safe was broken. Sheets were stained. Cushions ripped on the balcony.
