Over the past thirty years, I’ve taken hundreds of trips, both for business and pleasure, with countless hotel stays, but I’ve never met a more professional, friendly, and helpful hotel manager than Yanniz…. unbelievable!
When we arrived at the hotel, he first invited us for a welcome drink in the lounge, where he spent at least half an hour explaining everything about the hotel and all it had to offer. He surprised us with an amazing room upgrade—one that really stands out. He also told us where and what we could eat in Rethymno (Crete), where the nice shopping streets were, the sights, and so on.
The vacation was all about Crete—everything there was to see and the delicious food—but with such a wonderful welcome and service, the hotel turned our stay into an unforgettable experience that we’ll still look back on with pleasure in ten years’ time.
Once again: thank you, Yanniz, and all your colleagues for the wonderful stay at Swell Boutique Hotel.

Fabulous location right across from the beach and close enough to walk to the historic district. Very comfortable bed and we had a large balcony overlooking the beach. The breakfast on Sunday morning was very good and I especially enjoyed the salmon.
A little difficult to find parking if you don’t get lucky with the few spots in front of the hotel.

The room was excellent: clean, comfortable, and pleasant. The hotel is located right across from the beach, with a significant discount on umbrellas and sun loungers.
The service at the reception and during breakfast was very good.
We really enjoyed our stay!

Everything..the photos don't do it justice especially for the suite with private pool. It was very big and had a huge deck with loungers, table and chairs. The staff were amazing. Very helpful and friendly. There was a fresh food market selling lovely takeaways and a laundry right next door if you needed one. We had a bundle of clothes and it only cost 18 euros. Everything was in walking distance. Great restaurants within the block.
