The location is superb, and so are the friendly staff. The daily buffet breakfasts are amazing with so much variety, and the barista-made coffee really is delicious! Our sincere thanks and appreciation for arranging adjoining rooms so our family could be together during our stay. The spa is divine and highly rated for very good reason. The people who come in to sing at the bar/pool area are incredibly talented, creating a wonderful, relaxing atmosphere during the day and in the early evening. We enjoyed chilling out on the bean bags in the common area on one of the afternoons, and the food we ordered while relaxing there was delicious. The beds in the rooms were comfortable, and the rooms were lovely, clean, and spacious, with great amenities. If you would like a bathrobe, you can order one to use during your stay. We also used the gym and were impressed by the great range of equipment and cleanliness. The location of the Marriott is just a short walk from the beach, and around the corner from delicious gelato. Even though we explored wider Seminyak, Legian, and Kuta, we found the shops around the hotel had everything we wanted. It really is a great location if staying in Seminyak.
The pool layout makes lounging alongside it a bit challenging because seating is limited. We were out exploring a lot of the time and found it hard to get a lounger by the pool in the afternoon, but the common area at the back is lovely and inviting, with bean bags and picnic tables. Some of the chairs along one side of the pool do end up in the shade. This is ok if you don't like spending a lot of time relaxing directly in the sun.

Great location, close to the heart of Seminyak Beach, within walking distance to the beach, shopping, dining and bars. Well -maintained facilities. Nice food and staff were wonderful.
