Very quiet. Apartment small enough to keep clean. Staff were good about extending my stay, with extra bed linen etc. Grounds are nice and Rosecraddoc Wood next door is lovely, especially in spring.
No outside or hall lights and no handrail for the steps into the property.

Amazing setting, beautiful grounds with a lovely lake, and a walking trail. It was tranquil after a busy day site seeing.
Slight plumbing issue, but it didn’t spoil our stay.

Perfect place for a quiet getaway. The apartment has everything you need and makes for a good base from which to explore both Cornwall and Devon.
I was prepared for the additional electric payment as I’d stayed at the same property previously but I still think it should be included in the price quoted on Booking.com and not be an extra. Even allowing for the electric charge it remains good value.

Apartment was clean
Reception unmanned. Towels not provided (£5 per person extra but not in the booking conditions). Guests expected to empty bins before they leave, which for the nightly rate, is ridiculous.
Booked the kingfisher. Was given a completely different apartment. Steps into the apartment were dangerous in the dry let alone the wet.
