Everything! Perfect location near the old town. Spotlessly clean. Fabulous host.

Great location really near to old town. The flat is very well equipped and has everything you need. There is a lovely garden to sit in. The host is extremely friendly and responds immediately to any communications.
The flat is not close to the nicest sandy beaches but there is a small beach only 5 minutes away where you can go to swim in the sea.

Esperienza positiva. Ci siamo sentiti come a casa. Appartamento spazioso, luminoso, arredato con cura e gusto. Bagni nuovi.

We were met at the apartment by the host, beer, soft drinks and water were left in the fridge. The apartment is ten mins walk to the town centre. Beaches, you can walk to some, but better beaches, Maria Pia, are a bus away, carry cash as tap and go machines don't always work, costs €1, don't get the aqua park bus its €5. Be prepared to walk back from the beach, as the buses get packed, don't look at the bus time table. Alghero is not expensive, especially if you come from the south UK, prices are comparable or cheeper. Eating, most places are good, Alguer Mia and Ristorante Dietro Carcere are really good, my relatives eat here regularly and are out side of the centre, close to the Lido, do try out Milese focaccia bar infant of the port/marina, awesome. We ate in the centre three times, twice really good and once were chef Mike worked. You don't need a car to get around the local area, busses/coaches are fine. Market in a Wednesday over in the Lido area, just go and buy some cheese and look at the veg.
One more sofa would have been useful for lounging around, otherwise we really liked the apartment.
