Highly recommend

Truly amazing place, a real gem. It's spacious, well equipped and very comfortable. Located just outside the village/ town where you can comfortably walk. The area is quiet and relaxing. You get plenty of privacy. It was a real home away from home. It's great value for money and you just can't go wrong with booking this place.

A wonderful relaxing stay in a great location

The house is small but very comfortable, and despite rather low temperatures at night (in February), the provided heaters and blankets kept us snug and warm. It has a large garden frequented by a flock of canaries, which we heard and saw all day. You can also meet a local cat or two passing by ;-) The property is located at the outskirts of El Pinar, so that it's both isolated (the nights are quiet and you can see thousands of stars in the sky) but at the same time within walking distance of all amenities: supermarket, post office, pharmacy, bars, restaurants and a bank with an ATM. You have easy access to many hiking trails going through a lovely pine forest. Fidel is a wonderful host. When we arrived at the property, we found a welcoming gift of two bottles of excellent El Hierro wine (which we drank off far too quickly!). By the end of our stay we decided to extend it for a few days, which wasn't a problem. Our host showed up to water the garden and do some maintenance of the property, and brought us another gift for our extension, including very tasty fruits from the garden. Tip: if you're in El Pinar on an early Saturday morning, visit the farmers' market next to the football arena.

Parfait.

Rien.
