Such a beautiful hotel in a great area. We were warmly welcomed and the team went above and beyond to make our stay the best it could be.
When our plans for the day went sideways the staff were so quick to help us organise something else so we wouldn’t miss out.
The hotel is in a quiet, peaceful location with incredible views of the beach.
The food at the restaurant was cooked fresh and was delicious.
We were only here for one night but wished we’d booked longer. Couldn’t recommend Salt and Coral hotel enough.
Nothing.

The view at this location is breathtaking. Breakfast was delicious and had plenty of options to select from. The kitchen staff especially Martha, Happiness, Issa, Cecilia & Mau were absolutely great, relatable & very hospitable. You might get a special treat from the hotel if you stay for long periods.
The comfortability of the room was questionable. They also had not included drinks in the half-board dinner package which was quite unconventional & inconveniencing.

The staff here ay salt and coral are very welcoming, especially Cecilia, Issa and Nasma took very good care of us here. The beach and the restaurant are also very good and clean.
Will definitely visit them next time we come to Zanzibar.
Thank youuu Salt and coral team. :)))
The shower water and tap water are lil salty and the bathroom should have a door or curtain so that the water does not splashes out.

the view, the pool, the beach. a couple of staff members (the girl who tried to help me with change, and another guy at reception) were nice. the others they just look at you. there is a real lack of communication with the guests, sense of welcoming, service, attention,...
everything else. Service is super slow. breakfast was at 7am, I came at around 7h40, they were cleaning the floor. nobody explains how it works (buffet/menu) you need to ask. I was the only one and had to wait for 15min for a plain omelet 2 sausages and toasted bread. I mean... the AC was too hot despite my attempts to change the temperature and all. they had a party until 3am in the morning my room was literally in front of the DJ booth, I couldn't sleep. if you are not into parties, avoid staying there on Mondays. I booked a sea view room, don't expect a sea view from the room, it's outside the room. curtains are too small for full privacy and blackout
