Always a pleasure to stay here and Mandy and the staff are fantastic

All was great

Breakfast was standard full english. We arrived late morning a Breakfast was warm. Staff were attentive. The room was pleasant . Breakfast was included in the price with plenty to eat. Not a modern hotel but charming with all the mod cons. I would stay again happily.

Good value for a reasonable sized room with en suite bath and shower. Friendly reception. Night porter and 24 hour access without any fuss. Free parking for hotel guests (must register vehicle at reception). Clean and tidy. Quiet room even though the hotel is in the town centre.

Breakfast was disappointing. Cold fruit/pastries selection was ok but hot buffet had been out for too long and was dry and generally unappetising (bacon was almost solid). 8.00am-10.00am and we came down at 9.00am. Bed was a bit on the firm side for us, but that is a personal preference.

Very good location, with parking.

Room set up for 1 guest not 2. No hand towels, only 1 small bottle of water, no spare pillows. Very basic.
