It’s a gorgeous place. Everyone is friendly. Spotless rooms.
We only stayed the one night and you only get 3 hours consecutive use of the pool. And as you can only use the 3 hours within your check in/out times we were limited to when we can use it. We either had to use it at 3:30pm or 8:30am and miss out on time. To me, I think if the hotel has a pool you should get unlimited use of it and also be able to use it past your check out time.

The room was fantastic and very spacious.
Very chewy unappealing breakfast.

Lovely old building, nice room, good breakfast
No problem with the property itself but did have issues with other residents knocking the door several times

Overall the place looks lovely and the bar/restaurant staff friendly
The staff is not very friendly and presents everything as being “complementary “ when they are simply just included in the price you pay for the room , for example housekeeping.
We arrived around 7:20 and we were looking forward the spa, and we’ve been told that is closed already. Unfortunately that made my stay not as I intended, as I was there for two nights but in between it was my friend wedding ( the room I paid myself for it it was not one of the rooms included in their wedding package) The next day when my partner asked about he has been told not on a friendly tone that the spa visit is for max 3 hours per stay , even though we were there for two nights, after he challenged that he was told that 3hrs per day. In the end because of the situation he didn’t feel comfortable going and I was busy with my friend wedding, altough the reason of booking actually two nights instead of one was the spa. Going back to the night we arrived, we had issues also with TV ( we were not able to cast anything on tv because the tv was not connected to the internet c the guy from the reception came to have a look and he said he will be back but he never did. Also the aerial was not working, so in the end we didn’t have any spa or tv that evening.
On check in I was asked for my card details as well which I was not comfortable to give and the reason is that they don’t have a machine to scan the card, where the details are held only by the company, I had to say out loud my card number to the receptionist so he knows them, he typed them somewhere, and they have cctv as well, and God knows who have access to that as well.
Such a pity as the building itself is actually nice, but the whole experience has been bitter
