It was so close to the beach.
Access from the balcony of the chalet to the grass area.

Fantastic views. Loved being in the bushland with views to the ocean. All basic cooking equipment supplied. The villa had a lived in comfortable feel. We wished we could have stayed the week and just settled in. Ve were in the top row, last villa, furthest from the car park. Photos are views from our balcony.
Not that is a ‘didn’t like’, but you are our in the bush, no shops close by except Lamont’s restaurant and cafe so you need to bring your supplies with you or drive into Dunsborough to shop (or closer is Yallingup with fewer options).

Lovely to wake up in the morning to the sound of surf and birds in the garden. Then to go out on the balcony to see whales and dolphins. Every villa has a sea view and they are reasonably priced. Walking distance to fine dining, albeit expensive, restaurant. Beautiful walk along the beach and linked to long walking trails. Close to Caves Road and numerous wineries, cafes, bars and restaurants. I'm definitely going there again and again!
I am not a great swimmer and Smith's can be a bit rough for me, but it is only a few minutes drive to the very much calmer Yallingup lagoon.

Location is the reason that we continue to stay at Chandlers at smiths Beach. The view from the room is wonderful. Its close to wineries, the beach, galleries and eateries.
The place is getting old and some things need to be replaced or added to the self-contained units. The management should do more regular checks on their facilities. BBQ plates and lighting, frying pans and utensils need to be looked at.
