Horrible stay, better to camp. Overrated island

I was quite hesitant to post this review but my experience wasn’t pleasant at all. After an awful experience with car hire, never ever again, we arrived at our destination, the place wasn’t clean, facilities unsanitary and very uncomfortable and unpleasant, leaking water from walls, barely any usable space or even proper tea coffee stations, dirty cups/glass. Some of the staff were absolutely beautiful while others were very rude. Our stay on Fraser Island is something we never expected and was a nightmare experience overall in addition to the accommodation. Wish we had brought our own car and camped. Seems like everyone works together on the island to for and seems like the biggest rip off.

Dirty, some very rude staff, facilities broken, not working or dirty. Did not enjoy whatsoever

Paradise.

All of it.

Nothing really. One girl (staff member) was a little grumpy when ordering food. But hey she is human. We all have our bad days. Her mood didn't effect our day. But its always best to put on a smile for customers as some are not as understandable.

First time staying in Happy valley after coming to Fraser for 28 years . We’ve always wanted to, and now we have stayed

Location was awesome, the whole accommodation setup was great and close to everything

All the steps 🤣 . But that’s being picky . Not much to fault about this place
