Okay but ate in lounge because of leak in the ceiling in dining room .

Lovely big room and bathroom plus friendly staff

Bathroom needed a bit of tlc especially the bath panel which was cellotaped along the bottom

Staff very helpful. The TV in my room wasn’t working but fixed quickly once I reported it

More pillows would have been good

Every time I stay at your hotel in Lancaster, I usually use the laundry facilities. However, during my recent stay, I experienced several disappointing issues with the hotel facilities and customer service. Firstly, the laundry room door could not be opened, and there was no telephone in my room to contact security for assistance. When I approached the receptionist, I was repeatedly informed that the laundry facilities were not managed by the hotel. While I fully understand that the laundry service not under hotel. I would have appreciated a more helpful and friendly response. As a hotel guest, I believe it is reasonable to expect reception staff to offer some assistance or guidance rather than simply stating that the facilities are not their responsibility. Secondly, I experienced inconsistent information from different receptionists regarding luggage storage. One receptionist confirmed that I could leave my luggage in the hotel's storage room, while another receptionist subsequently refused. As a result, I had to carry my luggage and leave it at my school instead, which caused considerable inconvenience. I believe that **consistency, professionalism, and a willingness to assist guests are essential elements of good hospitality**. Even when certain facilities are managed by external providers, hotel staff should make an effort to help guests find solutions. As a returning guest, I hope the hotel management will take this feedback seriously and improve staff communication, customer service, and the consistency of hotel policies. My intention is to provide constructive feedback so that future guests can enjoy a more pleasant and comfortable stay.
