Lovely cottage, very clean, well organised and well appointed, beautiful views of the mountains. Quiet and peaceful. Excellent housekeeping, so rare these days. Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday, we definitely plan to return.
One small undercounter fridge and freezer not really large enough for a family staying a week. Another fridge or a larger fridge would make the stay perfect. A few grumbles from the teens regarding patchy WiFi, but it didn't bother me. Emergency lanterns and torches in case of power cuts would be good. There was a planned one during our stay, but it went on longer than anticipated and was getting dark - no one at reception in the evening, the lack of phone reception, WiFi and emergency lights made it a little unnerving, but all good in the end!

The cottage was immaculately clean, the kitchen had a good selection of equipment, the milk tablet and shortbread a thoughtful touch.
Nothing it was great I liked it all.

We loved the setting, we had lovely breakfast bacon rolls at the kitchen takeaway stand but that's about all.
Sorry to say we were quite disappointed as we were expecting a better, more modernised cottage as we were led to believe when booking but when we arrived it's called a unit, excellent marketing, everything was beautiful and clean but very over priced for what it actually was, the bedrooms were very small, then on leaving, the instructions of how to leave it by stripping the beds etc we've never experienced that before, with such precise instructions you don't expect that for that sort of expense, we've experienced much better for less than half the price and definitely not a DIY housework holiday.
