Our room was exceptional with clear views of the mountains. It was spacious, very clean and the ensuite bathroom was huge and also had a view of the mountains! The breakfast was delightful and varied with everything you could imagine and options for people with food intolerances (dairy free milk, gluten free bread and spreads etc). When we stayed, it was a family-friendly vibe with a mix of ages. The hostel was very quiet at night, so we were able to sleep really well. The outdoor terrace is lovely for an evening drink in the warmer months. The tram to the city only takes 10-15 mins and runs frequently. The Innsbruck welcome card that you get when you check in gives you free public transport. We also used the welcome card to access the free cable car at Axams. The hostel is right next to Ambras castle (10 min walk), which is fascinating and well worth a visit.
Access to a kitchen to prepare evening meals would be a plus.

Most of it was too good, breakfast options were good. Self check in experience was unique.
Elevator is a must and the pillow was not comfortable
