We were greeted by Nabil, who handled our check-in with such kindness, attentiveness, and professionalism that we immediately felt welcome.
The moment we entered our room, the hotel experienced a power outage! But that was when we met our very own superhero: Mohamad! 🦸♂️
He did everything he possibly could to resolve the situation as quickly as possible. He was literally sweating from all the effort and dedication he put into fixing the problem!. To us, Mohamad was the real Superman of The Smallville Hotel! Thank you so much for going above and beyond to make everything right!
Antoine, who welcomed us at breakfast, was always incredibly attentive, kind, and friendly. His warmth and genuine hospitality made our mornings even more enjoyable.
Tess also deserves a special thank you for her kindness, patience, and willingness to help us with our Lebanese SIM card. It’s these thoughtful gestures that make all the difference when you’re discovering a new country.
And a very special hug goes to Christian and Ali, for their kindness, attentiveness, and wonderful restaurant recommendations! Thanks to you both, we discovered incredible flavours and had the opportunity to experience even more of Lebanon’s extraordinary cuisine. Some of the most beautiful travel memories are made around a table, and you helped us create some truly special ones!
In the end, we realised that what makes a hotel truly special isn’t the absence of unexpected problems, but the way people take care of you when those moments happen
We arrived exhausted after a complicated journey, but we left with smiles, wonderful stories to tell, and immense gratitude for everyone who made our stay so memorable.

Smallville is a signature hotel where you can genuinely feel that every piece has a story to tell, every corner, and every detail has been placed with love and care.
There is a beautiful harmony throughout the property, the warm colors, the inviting design, the art, and the creative touches that somehow keep catching your attention wherever you look.
From the moment you check in, there is a feeling of safety and comfort, embraced by a genuine and warm welcome. Then you step into the lobby, and it almost feels like entering an artistic museum. Your eyes keep wandering from one detail to another, discovering different moods, textures, colors, and stories. You almost become afraid of missing something!
As you move around the hotel, another symphony begins this time a culinary one. Different cuisines, different experiences, all brought to life by a cool and professional team who genuinely seem to enjoy what they do and take pride in serving their guests.
The rooms carry the same artistic identity. They are extremely comfortable, stylish, and filled with unexpected, out-of-the-box touches that give the hotel its own personality.
Breakfast feels fresh from the farm, served with simplicity, love, and authenticity. And then you reach the 16th floor, dive into the pool, and find yourself looking over the magical scenery of charming Beirut… a moment where you simply want time to slow down enjoying a glass of wine!
My story could probably continue much longer, but it would not be complete without thanking the people who gave life to this beautiful hotel: the classy and always-smiling Ali at the welcome, Mohamed the Front Office manager, the positive Antoine at the pool, Mohamed, the Housekeeping Manager, the Security Manager, and every single team member I had the pleasure of meeting.
Beautiful hotels are built with design and creativity. Memorable hotels are built by people.
You will surely remain my home away from home whenever I am in Beirut.
The WIFI is a bit annoying but i assume it is a country related problem. I would prefer a wider breakfast option to include foul, Labneh,....
