We had stayed at the Palazzo a week earlier on the way to our holiday house rental further south in Salento and had enjoyed the experience so much that we came back for another night so that we could once again dine at their fantastic restaurant Ama. Having spent another month sampling the culinary treats of this wonderful region of Italy we still consider this the best restaurant we have experienced. The carpaccio of Gallipoli prawns was exquisite!

Fantastic restored palazzo in central Salento town. Host has created a magnificent base from which to explore Otranto, Lecce,Gallipoli and the other wonders of Salento. The accommodation is superb and the associated restaurant serves up some of the best food we have had in southern Italy. We will be back.
It would have been helpful to have advance information on where to park given the current roadworks and detours.
