We had a great time staying at Salt Lake Lodge. Lily and Simon were extremely friendly and welcoming, and the meals they cooked for us were absolutely amazing. Their dogs and cat were a highlight of the trip, as they were all so sweet. The bungalow-style room was separate from the main area, offering plenty of privacy, and the air conditioning was a great bonus. The main area overlooked the lake and had an incredible view. Lily and Simon also provided activities and kindly offered to accompany us on trips to help us out. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend Salt Lake Lodge!
The only thing I would mention was that there were no curtains in the room - fine if you want an early start :)

Simon and Lilly were wonderful hosts. Lilly cooked for us some of the time and the food was excellent. The location was beautiful. Wifi was good.

Staying here was one of the highlights of our trip. It’s such a beautiful spot and there’s heaps to do as well as plenty of opportunity to do just kick back and relax in paradise. Drifting down the river to the salt lake was a particular highlight. But what really makes it special are the hosts, Lily and Simon. We were so well looked after - from the delicious (and massive) breakfasts to the late night kava and conversations. They even got up at the crack of dawn to help us cart our luggage down the road and make sure we caught the right bus. We’ll definitely be back and next time we’re getting the lovo because we heard how amazing that was from other guests. Vinaka vaka levu Lily and Simon!
