Angelats Hotel - A Signature Boutique Hotel & Restaurant

The food was amazing, both the breakfast and the dinner. The overall hotel is incredible: I love that is located in the middle of the forest with nothing but trees and nature around it. The common areas were also amazing and very well maintained.

The temperature of the shower didn't quite work: you could either burn yourself or freeze. Also the bathroom door was so old that wasn't working (it didn't close, not even lock). The temperature of the room was a bit high - it was still fine with the ceiling fan, but I cannot imagine how hot it must be in summer. Also, some mosquito net would have been appreciated. We couldn't open the window as there were quite a few sting bugs stuck on the window glass. Lastly, the hotel staff at breakfast could have been nicer - they were incredibly stressed because it got busy, and it would have been nicer if they didn't show it up (sometimes their answer or body language was too direct).

Everything! Stunning location, the hotel has a lovely peaceful feel to it, loved the furniture, very comfy beds. Food was amazing - excellent dinner and breakfast too! Really want to return in the winter with the fires roaring! And the staff were so lovely - thank you Paula (sorry didn’t get the other ladies name!)

We had a wonderful stay at Angelats! Tucked away in the middle of nature and blissfully quiet, it's the kind of place where your shoulders drop about five minutes after you arrive. The room was clean and comfy, the bathroom is a little old-school but spotless, and being able to park right at the property is a small joy that any road-tripper will appreciate. The staff were absolute stars, warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. The restaurant had its moments: some dishes were an enthusiastic "wow!" and others were more of a polite nod, so a bit of a mixed bag. But breakfast? Breakfast stole the show, served in a room with views so magnificent you'll forget to eat while you stare out the window. Bonus points for being right by the cremallera, making the trip up to Vall de Núria wonderfully easy. The only hiccup was the wifi, which had... opinions about working. But honestly? It became the perfect excuse to unplug, look up, and actually be on holiday. We'll be back, phones on airplane mode and all. :)

Nice quiet location, stylish old style function rooms, restaurant and bar. The food was very nice and of high quality, and the selection of the 'made to order' breakfast was very good. Very friendly and helpful staff that really made us feel welcome and understanding our needs and interests. Especially the receptionist, he is a great asset to the hotel, ver rememberable, in a positive way.

Cleaning basics were not performed. Room floor hoovering, dusting and washing of the floors in the rooms, and especially in the bathrooms, have not been done for a long time. Insect infestation must be prioritised to make guests feel relaxed in their rooms and in the rest of the property.
