It was serene and quiet. Very comfortable and the lounge was lovely. The food was fabulous and the breakfast one of the best we had in Ireland. Home baked scones were mouth watering

Very easy, walked into reception and was shown to our room including how to use the security gate, path to the beach and the use of the WIFI. The gardens are amazing, you should really dedicate a day of your stay to these alone

Beautiful location and amazing gardens.
The rooms are tired with broken towel rails and very chipped paintwork. They refuse to serve tap water and want to upsell bottled water.
The heating was not working in our rooms, the team did not resolve this, they wouldn’t answer calls and disappeared by 9.30pm leaving us wearing coats. They admitted that they had seen my message on the booking.com messaging service but decided not to help. The next morning there was no offer of any compensation or sympathetic apology. Such a shame when it had so much potential.
