The most wonderful, friendly, and helpful owners. Made us feel perfectly at home. Would so love to return one day. Brilliant location, walkable distance to downtown Port Vila, yet peaceful. Rescued us when our flight was cancelled and kept a room free, so we knew we had somewhere to come back to. Thank you so much again.

Amazing staff, central location, well equipped room.

Ian went above and beyond to make my stay at the Lodge as comfortable and unforgettable as possible. Himself and his staff were incredibly welcoming and hospitable and always greeted me with a warm smile and went above and beyond to help me if there was ever anything I needed. As a solo traveller, choice of accommodation is one of the most important decisions that can be made when planning a trip to a foreign country, and my stay at the Lodge was one of the many factors that made my trip to Vanuatu one to remember. The Lodge was immaculately clean and has a very warm and homely charm and feel to it. My room was clean and comfortable, equipped with a fridge and safe, as well as towels, blankets and other necessities such as a fan. I would arrive back to my room each afternoon to find that it had been cleaned to a high standard by the amazing staff. This isn’t always the case in many accommodations I’ve stayed at over the years and I was extremely impressed by the overall standard. There is a huge collection of books available to borrow, as well as kayaks to use down by the lagoon- I made the most of these, which made my stay extra special. I also spent a day relaxing by the pool too, which is always a plus. The facilities are clean and well kept. The communal kitchen is fully equipped with cooking utensils, and there is a fridge, microwave and other appliances which made cooking my own food very simple. The bathrooms and incredibly clean and well-kept, and the tap water at the Lodge is clean and drinkable which is always a big plus. Ian is always on hand to help with enquiries such as booking tours and offering local knowledge of things to do and places to see. He is an amazing point of contact to have which is reassuring when travelling solo. There is a lot more I’d like to write about the lodge but there is a word limit- so let me concluded with this: immaculate accommodation, unbelievable host, unforgettable holiday.
