Lovely pools

The staff were great, and the location was very convenient. They let us check out late for free also. Common places were always clean.
Lacking some attention to detail, there was a little mold on the shower ceiling, the power outlets didn’t hold very well, etc. Also, not many options for vegetarians.

Staff, beds, and location
We had an upstairs room and the air con wasn’t sufficient enough it was too hot. Although staff tried to cool it down.

Staff were pleasant and helpful. The lizards wandering around are great to watch.
Beautiful sunsets.
At its peak this would’ve been a great hotel but can see how it’s been neglected. Swim up bar is empty and non functional, pool bar is rarely open and the slides at the children’s pool can’t be used until 4pm as there is no water on them and therefore too hot to slide down. Shame really as you can see how beautiful the hotel once was.
Had to change rooms due to a termite infestation but Reception quickly moved us.
Breakfast was fine and various choices. Lots of fruit options and coffee was decent.
Whether it’s Khao Lak or this hotel I’m not sure but it was overly expensive in comparison to other places for what you get.
