Everything was great.
nothing was bad
10 / 10Outstanding·Aug 2025
I have stayed here a number of times over the years. Many other recent reviews have pointed to deficiencies in the current dilapidated state of facilities, and they're not wrong. They note you can stay at any number of modern, clean, well-appointed hotels in the same area, even on the same block, for a comparable price. But these people are comfort-seeking dilettantes of travel, and no amount of clean towels will fill the emptiness in their souls. The charm of this place is precisely that it hasn't changed in two decades; it is a lost part of Phnom Penh, from a period of rapidly fading Cambodian history. There will be no museum for Okay Guesthouse and its ilk. Last chance to see, stained towels and all.
I'm only sad that the property has little time left before it is torn down or renovated beyond recognition.

Was fully of cockroaches! They were in my bed living rent free! This place is disgusting! 😭 Do not start I left higher stars so it gets published..
