Nice spot for a short break with my grand children. They enjoyed the pool although it was too cold for me! They also enjoyed going to find the peacocks each day. Villa was well equiped for preparing family meals except there was no oven in the villa or the communal kitchens. The chap who cleans the rooms was lovely.
Reception staff were rude and there was nobody there most of the time. I didn’t check emails the morning of check in so didn’t see instructions that key was in the locked box, the man at reception made no attempt to hide his annoyance that I spoke to him. Then on check out I returned the key before 10am but had to go back to ask for it again as needed to go back in, the woman said who are you and was very rude. The six year old with me was scared by her reaction and asked why was she so nasty? I’ve stayed at many apartments and holiday parks in Hervey Bay, this is the first bad staff experience I’ve encountered.
No internet in rooms only at the poolside.
