Location was perfect
The check in process was a farce. Info said that someone would meet us to check in, no one appeared. No message or communication. Had to phone the number (which not everyone would have the ability to do in a foreign country) and after ringing three times I finally got an answer. WhatsApp message received with videos of how to access the front door and the apartment door. Took far far too much effort on a guest to get access to our accommodation. Also found someone outside as we left who was in the exact situation so thankfully was able to help her with the WhatsApp number to call.

Excellent location, easy access to restaurants, bars and cafes, short walking distance to Piazza di Spagna and Fontana di Trevi and generally easy to walk to many of the attractions
We were a group of 4, so 2 of us slept in the living room. There where some noises coming from pipes (or at least that's what we think those noises were) at regular times and it was a little annoying, especially for people who are not easy sleepers.

Location is fantastic and the main selling point, you are 5-10 walk minute from a number of key tourist landmarks. There are loads of great spots to eat and drink nearby. The AC was a godsend with Rome's heat. Our room faced an internal courtyard so no street noise (however walls are thin) and no direct sunlight which helped keep place cool. Host was good and gave detailed instructions on how to get in. Kitchen had most of what you'd need (no cutlery though but plates and cups).
-The shower temperature was very sporadic, going from super hot to cold in seconds, it was also quite cramped.
-There was quite a few ants in the bathroom each day, nothing major but I could always spot them when in there.
-I was a little surprised by the city tax as this wasn't on the initial listing and not mentioned until checkout details were given by host on second to last day. I understand its a city wide thing but I feel this wasn't mentioned early enough, especially being 60euro for 5 nights.

The building is an old one and the appartment is not renovated and it is really used.
