Staff/owners were very welcoming. Loved the breakfast room and the common room. The breakfast was excellent.

We have stayed here before with friends. It was a few years ago but the same family own the place; always a good sign. This time we were in a cottage across the yard and it has a kitchen (the main building has a communal kitchen). We self catered as the surrounding area is in the countryside and there are a minimal number of restaurants, certainly none of note close by. The breakfast is excellent with many of the items like jams and cake home made.
There is nothing to dislike
