This is the second year in a row that I stayed at Grand Tarabya on our October holiday. It does not disappoint. The staff is very polite and helpful. the hotel is amazing, The Bosporus view is exceptional their food in the restaurant and breakfast was superb. It is very close to amazing fish restaurants which we visited twice. And the cost of stay was actually reasonable compared to other high end hotels of Istanbul. Will come again next year. The location can be considered a bit further away from the touristic attractions but it was perfect for us since we enjoyed being away from crowds and walks on the Bosporus line. and uber to levent- mecidiyekoy, ortakoy takes 12-14£ which is also reasonable. and it is very close to Acibadem hospital for check ups and doctor's appointments and Istinye park for high end shopping.
Although the price of the meals on the restaurants were reasonable the prices on the alcohol menu was high. also the breakfast was amazing but it was also a on the expensive side.

The beach view was very beautiful, the quietness. The staff Hawa, Yasemin, Fahri, Fatih, Mohmet were all very nice & cooperative.
It is far away from the main shopping area of istanbul , the old souq, all taxis are expensive. I suggest the hotel to provide a free shuttle twice daily with a specified time. Otherwise the hotel is exceptionally very good. I like it.
