Loved the location and the hotel room was very good and clean the staff were pleasant and friendly. The breakfast was good and the main meal was excellent. The swimming pool is good.

Staff were very hospitable and the room was a good size. Breakfast and evening restaurant service was well priced with good quality food.
It was a short stroll to the seafront and to the main street and the hotel is dog friendly with quite extensive gardens for evening walks for our 4 legged guest!
A very pleasant stay.
Very little - perhaps a little spruce up on decoration upstairs but that was a minor thing.
9 / 10Outstanding·Oct 2026
The ambience and grace of an old fashioned hotel with traditional standards of service. The pool area and health facilities are really good.
This is not a modern hotel and the decor is showing signs of wear. Some selective sympathetic renovation is needed without destroying its appealing charm. Hotels like this won't be around for much longer.
